Alert Notifications

Spitfire Project Management System offers Alert Notifications

Be Proactive with the Spitfire Project Management System's Highly Flexible Alerts

When managing a project, timely action on problems can make the difference between success and disaster. But, when you are dealing with data overload, keeping track of everything becomes more and more difficult and time consuming. That is why the Spitfire Project Management System offers flexible and automated Alert functionality.

Receive Alerts Before You Have a Problem

Spitfire's Alerts constantly monitor your information and automatically notify the appropriate people whenever action is required, or due dates approach or have past, based on your own business rules. It's like having a tireless assistant constantly monitoring your company behind the scenes to alert you of potential difficulties. Furthermore, Alerts are fully integrated with your project information, so you can go right to the project document or information you need in order to take care of the details.

Receive Different Types of Alerts

Alerts can monitor due dates, start or end dates, document status, if due dates change, and if a document is out of compliance. You set up which information about which documents you want monitored, and who will receive each Alert. Then you don't need to think about it anymore. The alerts will be triggered automatically when the monitored conditions arise. You can then open the related documents and take whatever action is appropriate and forward or discard the alerts.

Here Are Some Alert Examples

Alerts can be triggered, and you can be notified, if:

  • A contract or subcontract will be due tomorrow, giving you an opportunity to make sure all will be done in time.
  • A budget revision has been approved, allowing you to know right away.
  • A submittal is overdue, prompting you to find out why.
  • An RFI has not been dealt with yet, bringing the matter to your attention.
  • A subcontract has gone out of compliance, so you can deal with that in a timely fashion.
